Daciana
Origin: Romanian
Meaning: comes from Dacia, old Roman name for what is now Romania and Moldova, meaning "of Dacia", referring to some from there. Dacia itself is of uncertain etymology though it could be from Indo-European meaning "to put, to place" or "knife, dagger". It could also possibly be related to the Phrygians meaning "wolf".
Daciana is pronounced dah-chyahn-ah while Dacia is day-cha.
