Coralyn

Origin: English, Greek, French, Latin, Welsh

Meaning: a variant form of Coraline, either an elaborate form of Cora, the Latinized form of Greek Korë meaning "maiden", or derived from Latin cor or cordis meaning "heart". Coraline could also be another form of Coralie, the French form of Koralia, a Greek feminine name meaning "coral" from Greek korallion, or the French form of Latin corallium also meaning "coral".

Coralyn could also be a combination of given names Cora and Lyn, Cora meaning either "maiden" or heart", and Lyn being a variant spelling of Lynn meaning "lake" from Welsh llyn meaning either "maiden's lake" or "heart's lake".
