Deuce
Origin: Latin
Meaning: from Old French deus derived from Latin duos, a nominative of duo meaning "two"; deus is also the Latin and French word for "god, deity".
A deuce is a playing card with a rank of two, as well as once having been used as a mild oath (ex: "what the deuce are they doing?"). It could also be given as a nickname to someone.
